Trieste

   

Trieste is Nonna’s home town, where she grew up before immigrating to Australia.  It’s the home of the biggest waterfront piazza in Europe.  It’s really is a beautiful city.

    

It also has Roman ruins.  This was an ancient Roman amphitheater.

Zia Gina and her daughter Luisa have a flower shop.  Spring has definitely sprung not only in Trieste, but also Zia’s shop!  It has always looked great to me, but this time it was really lovely.
